Frequently Asked Questions:

What is a multi-page form?
A multi-page form contains multiple sheets, each with different artwork (for example, page 1, page 2, page 3, etc.), all printed on carbonless paper. After printing, the pages are collated in sequence (e.g., page 1, page 2, page 3, page 4).
Please note: Forms are not glued, stapled, or bound. They are simply printed and packaged in order.

How is “Quantity” calculated?
The quantity refers to the number of complete sets.
For example, if you order a quantity of 50 for a 4-page form, you will receive:

50 sets of Page 1
50 sets of Page 2
50 sets of Page 3
50 sets of Page 4

Each set (white and yellow sheet) contains one of each page, collated in order.

What are the artwork requirements?
Your artwork should be 8-1/2″ x 11″ with 1/4″ margins on all sides. We prefer PDF files. See above tab “File Preparation” for details.
Your file should have all the pages in order and match the Pages in file selection.

Where will my artwork be printed on the sheet?
Artwork will be as it is supplied as long as it meets our margin requirements.

Will the backside printing show through to the front side?
If the backs of your forms are printed in black, there may be some show through to the front. To help your backside printing not show through, we recommend using the “Back Side Printed” option “Yes, in Grey”.

What are “Finishing Options”?
Sequential numbering, 3 hole drilling, back side printing are some of the “Finishing Options” you can add to your form. Details on these options are found under the ? to the right of each option.

When and how will I get a proof for approving?
After your order is received, our production department will review the file and create a PDF proof for you to approve. You will receive email notification when the proof is ready. Proofs are normally done as soon as possible, but may take up to 24 business hours.

How are my carbonless forms printed?
Carbonless forms are printed directly from your artwork either on an offset or digital press.

How does the writing transfer?
It is a chemical reaction. When you write on the top white sheet, that writing transfers through to the canary sheet. Carbonless only transfers from the front side of the sheet. It does NOT transfer if turned over and written on the back. Be sure to place the chipboard protection between page 1 and page 2 when writing on page 1.

When will my order ship?
Your order will ship 3 business days after the proof has been approved. Large quantity orders with sequential numbering or wrap around covers may add 1-2 extra days. Expedited turnaround is available. Click the ? for details.
