Frequently Asked Questions:

What is “Special Paper Color Sequence”?
“Special Paper Color Sequence” is blue/white, green/white or yellow/white or any other non-standard (2-part white/canary or white/pink; 3-part white/canary/pink; 4-part white/canary/pink/goldenrod) paper sequence.

How do I order?
Our ordering process is easy. Choose the quantity (number of sets), ink color and number of parts and any additional options needed. Your price changes based on your choices. “Add to Cart”, Login or Create A Login, then Upload Your Artwork and checkout.

What are the artwork requirements?
Your artwork should be 8-1/2″ x 11″ with 1/4″ margins on all sides. We prefer PDF files. Artwork for each part should be uploaded. Please name the files clearly (white part, yellow part, etc.). See above tab “File Preparation” for details.

Where will my artwork be printed on the sheet?
Artwork will be centered on the sheet unless “crop marks” are supplied.

Can I use color in my artwork if I only want “Black” ink?
Yes, any color on your artwork will print as “grayscale” if you select “Black” ink.

If I select “Full Color” will the printed color match my screen exactly?
Because all monitor settings such as brightness, contrast, frequency, temperature, etc. affect color accuracy, your printed forms may have a slightly different color than what you see on your monitor.

Will the backside printing show through to the front side?
If the backs of your forms are printed in black, there may be some show through to the front. To help your backside printing not show through, we recommend using the “Back Side Printed” option “Yes, in Grey”.

What are “Finishing Options”?
Sequential numbering, perforations, back side printing are some of the “Finishing Options” you can add to your form. Details on these options are found under the ? to the right of each option.

When and how will I get a proof for approving?
After your order is received, our production department will review the file and create a PDF proof for you to approve. You will receive email notification when the proof is ready. Proofs are normally done as soon as possible, but may take up to 24 business hours.

How are my carbonless forms printed?
Carbonless forms are printed directly from your artwork either on an offset or digital press.

How does the writing transfer?
It is a chemical reaction. When you write on the top white sheet, that writing transfers through to the canary sheet. Carbonless only transfers from the front side of the sheet. It does NOT transfer if turned over and written on the back.

When will my order ship?
Your order will ship 3 business days after the proof has been approved. Large quantity orders with sequential numbering or wrap around covers may add 1-2 extra days. Expedited turnaround is available. Click the ? for details.

How will my order ship and what is the cost?

Carbonless forms started out being known as NCR Forms or NCR Printing and have many uses such as invoices, sales receipts, work orders, home care forms, almost any business form. The old carbon forms were messy, but the new NCR or carbonless forms are quick and easy to use.

We use paper made in the U.S.A. All parts are 20 pound stock, not the flimsy carbonless. We can print your business forms in black ink or up to full color to give your forms that “pop” that makes you stand out from the crowd.

SPOT COLOR PRINTING:

Printing with spot color is actually a little more difficult than printing with process color because the software is so picky about color names.

Red, Green, Blue are not acceptable colors for color work. Use either the appropriate PMS color (PMS 199, 347, etc.) or CMYK color (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black)

Microsoft Word files are not capable of selecting PMS or CMYK colors, any files uploaded for 2 color work will be charged an additional $50.00 for creating separations for printing.
