Shipping

We ship most orders via UPS. For commercial addresses, please ensure someone is available during business hours, as a signature may be required. Lighthouse Printing is not responsible for delays or missed deliveries due to unattended addresses.


Proofing

  • If you select “Yes” for proofing, your proof will be ready shortly after your order during business hours; otherwise, it will be ready the next business day.
  • Proofs must be downloaded and reviewed using a PDF viewer (thumbnail images are not proofs).
  • Additional proofs beyond the second are $5 each.

Turnaround Time

  • Orders are generally delivered 4–8 business days after proof approval.
  • Production begins after proof approval; shipping time is added separately.

Reorders

  • Update numbering if needed and confirm all options match your original order.
  • Changes to files require a new order; previous edits do not carry over.

File Preparation

  • Files without bleed: leave ¼” white space around edges.
  • Files with bleed: match product size and keep important content ⅛” from edges.

Returns & Refunds

  • Defective or misprinted items may be reprinted or refunded (notification required within 14 days).
  • Custom printed items are non-refundable unless there’s a manufacturing defect.
  • Shipping costs are not refundable.
  • We may request defective items be returned; a shipping label may be provided.

Lost Packages & Address Issues

  • Ensure your shipping address is complete, including street, suite/apt, city, state, and zip/postal code.
  • Returned packages are subject to a return fee and reshipping fee.
  • If your package has not been delivered within 24 hours of the expected delivery date, notify us within 5 days so we can contact UPS to start an investigation.
  • UPS investigations typically take 1–10 business days.
  • For damaged packages, email a photo of the damage and retain the original packaging. If the product is unusable, we will process a reprint claim.

Cancellations

  • Orders cannot be canceled once in production.
  • Proof-stage orders may be canceled with a $3 processing fee plus any credit card fees.
  • Credit card processing fees (3.5%) are non-refundable.
  • To cancel, email info@lighthouseprinting.com with:
    1. Order number
    2. Name on account
    3. Reason for cancellation
  • Refunds (minus fees) appear within 1–7 business days.

Color Accuracy

  • Colors may vary; we cannot guarantee exact color matching.
  • No reprints for approved proofs with color differences.

Liability

We are not responsible for errors caused by:

  • Typos or grammatical mistakes
  • Low-resolution or damaged graphics
  • Incorrect file formatting or options
  • Cutting variances or delivery issues
  • Damage after delivery

Payment & Ownership

  • Payment is due in full when the order is placed.
  • Goods remain property of Lighthouse Printing until payment is received in full.

Legal & Force Majeure

  • Delivery dates are estimates; delays may occur.
  • We are not liable for events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or war).
  • Our warranty is limited to reprint or refund at our discretion.
